CLASS and MECHANISM of Action
Generic Arcoxia is a member of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug class. Generic Arcoxia is a highly selective inhibitor of cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2). It works by blocking the action of a substance in the body called cyclo-oxygenase.
Active Ingredients: etoricoxib
Inactive Ingredients: calcium hydrogen phosphate (anhydrous), carnauba wax, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, titanium dioxide, and glycerol triacetate. The 60 mg and 120 mg tablets also contain yellow ferric oxide and FD&C Blue #2 (indigo carmine lake).

What is Generic Arcoxia PRESCRIBED For?
Generic Arcoxia is prescribed for patients with acute gout, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, chronic low back pain and acute pain
How Should I Take Generic Arcoxia?
Generic Arcoxia can be taken with or without food, but may start to work quicker if taken without food. Do not crush or chew pills. Swallow it the whole.

What are the CONTRAINDICATIONS for taking Generic Arcoxia?
Generic Arcioxia should not be taken by patients who had pharmacological interventions, or have unacceptable adverse effects, allergy to any of Generic Arcoxia element, history of cardiovascular, renal, or gastrointestinal disease. Generic Arcoxia is contraindicated to women with late pregnancy or breast-feeding child.
What Happens if I MISS A DOSE?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and only take your next regularly scheduled dose. Do not take double doses.
What happens if I OVERDOSE?
Generic Arcoxia is not likely to cause the overdose. If overdose is suspected, it is reasonable to employ the usual supportive measures, e.g., remove unabsorbed material from the gastrointestinal tract, employ clinical monitoring, and institute supportive therapy, if required.
What are the possible SIDE EFFECTS of Generic Arcoxia?
Generic Arcoxia may cause the following side effects: anaphylaxis, angioedema, skin rash, mucosal lesions, or other signs of hypersensitivity.
What other drugs can INTERACT with Generic Arcoxia?
Do not use Generic Arcoxia along with drugs which contain one of the following: acetylsalicylic acid, aspirin, naproxen, diclofenac, rifampin, warfarin, methotrexate, diuretics and lithium. It's recommended not to take oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy while you're taking Generic Arcoxia.
Additional Information
The risk of heart attacks and strokes might increase after prolonged treatment with Generic Arcoxia, especially with high doses.
