For mouth sores, place the prescribed amount in the mouth and try to keep the liquid in contact with the sores for at least 30 seconds before spitting it out. For a sore throat, gargle with the prescribed amount for at least 30 seconds before spitting it out. For an external sore, gently rub Generic Benzydamine in until it is evenly distributed. Avoid getting Generic Benzydamine in your eyes.
Store Generic Benzydamine at a room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep it from freezing and out of reach of children.

Generic Benzydamine is contraindicated to those who have kidney problems, allergy to any of its ingredients; pregnant or breast-feeding women. Use of Generic Benzydamine is not recommended in children under 5 years of age because they may tend to swallow the medication instead of spitting it out.

If you miss a dose of Generic Benzydamine, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply double doses.

This medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Symptoms of Generic Benzydamine overdose may include excessive scaling; flushing; redness; swelling. If the overdose is suspected, contact your doctor or emergency room immediatly.

Generic Benzydamine may cause the following side effects: burning, stinging or numbness in the mouth or throat; throat irritation, cough, dry mouth with thirst, and headache; drowsiness, nausea or vomiting.

Generic Benzydamine is not likely to interact with other drugs.

Generic Benzydamine is to be used only by the patient for whom it is prescribed. Do not share it with other people and use it only for the indication prescribed.
