The risk of systemic effects is increased when Generic "Cort-Dome" is applied under occlusion or plastic, skin folds; applied on large surfaces; used as a long-term treatment; applied on children especially on the thin skin and the relatively large surface of the skin; and when components or excipients which increase the penetration through the stratum corneum is present.

There are no known interactions between Generic "Cort-Dome" skin preparations and other drugs.

Talk to your doctor first before using Generic "Cort-Dome" if you have skin lesions that resulted from bacterial infections, viral infections, mycotic and yeast infections, and parasitic infections; skin lesions that are ulcerous; undesirable effects caused by corticosteroids; juvenile dermatosis plantaris, acne rosacea and vulgaris, fragile skin vessels, ichthyosis, and skin atrophy; and allergic hypersensitivity to vehicle or to corticosteroids components.
