If you miss a dose of Generic Melpred , take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.

What happens if I OVERDOSE?

Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have received too much of this medicine.
An overdose of Generic Melpred is not expected to produce life-threatening symptoms. However, long-term use of high steroid doses can lead to symptoms such as thinning skin, easy bruising, changes in the shape or location of body fat (especially in your face, neck, back, and waist), increased acne or facial hair, menstrual problems, impotence, or loss of interest in sex.

What are the possible SIDE EFFECTS of Generic Melpred?

Some medicines may interact with Generic Melpred. Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:
  • Barbiturates (eg, phenobarbital), carbamazepine, hydantoins (eg, phenytoin), lithium, or rifampin because they may decrease Generic Melpred 's effectiveness
  • Aprepitant, clarithromycin, cyclosporine, diltiazem, erythromycin, itraconazole, ketoconazole, or troleandomycin because side effects, such as adrenal gland or nervous system problems, may occur
  • Aspirin, live vaccines, mifepristone, or ritodrine, because their actions and the risk of their side effects may be increased by Generic Melpred This may not be a complete list of all interactions that may occur.
