Generic "Norpace" is an antiarrhythmic agent.

Before taking Generic "Norpace" notify your doctor if you have any type of heart disease, liver or kidney disease, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, myasthenia gravis or glaucoma.
Unfortunately it is not known whether Generic "Norpace" will harm an unborn baby. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant. This medication passes into breast milk. Due to this check thoroughly if there is a real need of taking this medication.

As this medicine has effect on your heart it should be avoided taking a double dose in the case of missing one. Skip the dose and come back to the regular schedule provided by your doctor.

Symptoms of a Generic "Norpace" overdose include dry mouth and eyes, blurred vision, constipation, difficulty urinating, dizziness, worsening irregular heartbeats, loss of consciousness, and death. If an overdose of this medicine is suspected call the emergency immediately.

Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Generic "Norpace" may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. If you experience dizziness, drowsiness, or blurred vision, avoid these activities.

Generic "Norpace" can cause the following side effects: wheezing; tightness in the chest; fever; itching; bad cough; blue skin color; fits; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; swelling of legs or belly, shortness of breath, weight gain, or decreased ability to walk; passing out, fainting, dizziness, lightheadedness, rapid heartbeats.
If any of the above listed side effects occur your doctor should be notified immediately and medical attention is requested.

Generic "Norpace" may interact with the following medications: grepafloxacin (Raxar)or sparfloxacin (Zagam); phenytoin (Dilantin); phenobarbital (Solfoton, Luminal); cisapride (Propulsid); a beta-blocker such as acebutolol (Sectral), propranolol (Inderal), metoprolol (Lopressor), carteolol (Cartrol), labetalol (Normodyne, Trandate), pindolol (Visken), nadolol (Corgard), and others; other medicines used to treat irregular heartbeats such as quinidine (Cardioquin, Quinora, others), amiodarone (Cordarone), bepridil (Vascor), procainamide (Pronestyl, Procan, Procanbid), and other.

You may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during your treatment if you are taking any of the medicines listed above.

Do not skip doses or change your dosing schedule without talking to your doctor. Changing your schedule could make your condition much worse.
