PropeciaCLASS and MECHANISM of Action Generic "Propecia" belongs to a group of medicines called "5 alpha reductase inhibitors".

What are the possible SIDE EFFECTS of Generic "Propecia"? When taken at the recommended dose, the possible side effects of Generic "Propecia" are usually mild and generally have not caused the men to stop taking the medicine. Side effects from Generic "Propecia" are uncommon and don't affect most men: less desire for sex; difficulty in achieving an erection; a decrease in the amount of semen; rashes; itching and swelling of the lips and face; testicular pain.
Please NOTE that these side effects are very rare. They occurred in less than 2% of men.
