CLASS and MECHANISM of Action
Generic Lotrisone is a combination cream consisting of an anti-fungal medication, clotrimazole, and an anti-inflammatory medication, betamethasone dipropionate. For treating fungal infections it is used topically on the skin, inserted vaginally or allowed to dissolve in the mouth.
Active Ingredients: clotrimazole
Inactive Ingredients: purified water, mineral oil, white petrolatum, cetearyl alcohol, ceteareth-30, propylene glycol, sodium phosphate monobasic, and phosphoric acid; benzyl alcohol as preservative.

What is Generic Lotrisone PRESCRIBED For?
Generic Lotrison is used for the treatment of local fungal infections with tinea pedis ("athlete's foot"), tinea cruris ("jock itch"), or tinea corporis. Infections that are treated with the combination product, Generic Lotrison, have a better response than patients treated with either betamethasone dipropionate or clotrimazole alone.
